Emili James - About The Artist

Emili James is an Outer Banks born and raised artist who relocated to Richmond VA after graduating from college. She has been practicing the arts seriously since she was a child, after getting her first camera at 10. After falling in love with painting at 18, and sewing at 22, she now runs her own small business where she freelances paintings and sells custom clothing. 

Artists Statement

She is a firm believer that life shouldn't be so serious, and neither should art. A piece shouldn't require deep emotional meaning to be exceptional and treasured. Her method for her art is to use colors that emote happiness and make the viewer feel animated.
